Huh.

So I just had an email from a relatively good press, asking if I was intending to publish my dissertation, and if so could I please contact them?

Apparently they spoke with my good advisor last week, and she talked me up.

This probably happens regularly to a lot of people, but for me it's really, really bizarre. I don't know exactly how I'm supposed to respond.
