No scale, but...
... a week into my exercise program, I can tell it's working already. Between cutting out the beer, watching food - not much change there, but a bit - and cardio, my pants are no longer uncomfortably tight. They're still tight, but wearably tight.
This isn't a huge surprise, I guess. I probably needed to either cut out beer or exercise more, but doing both at the same time a quick way to lose some fat.
One of my big goals is to have the interview suit(s) comfortably loose. Not hanging off me, just roomy.
Now, I shall toddle back off to my exercise bike and listen to another half-hour of Speaker for the Dead on my iPod.

Whoohooo for looser pants! That combo of drinking less + exercise really does work pretty well...(plus, I think my tolerance is pretty low (relatively) now, so I'm a much cheaper date...)
